LuLu is a half Arabian, quarter Saddlebred, and quarter Dutch Harness horse. This unique and special girl has a show history to speak for her. She has numerous world and national titles, and takes our riders to the highest level of competitions. She is as beautiful as she is sweet! She loves neck scratches and treats.
Cinch is a palomino quarter horse. He is tried and true, and loves teaching beginner riders. He loves to teach beginner riders how to go around the arena, and how to steer and post! Fun fact! Cinch used to travel the country, as a pony horse that would help train race horses and bring them to the starting gates for horse racing. He is now retired from that, and loves being able to teach the kids. His favorite things are bubble baths and treats!
Eve is a 15 year old Morgan mare. She has a long history of showing and winning at some of the nations most prestigious competition! She teaches our riders to have confidence and fun in the show ring! Eve’s favorite things are peppermints and her girl Gillian!
Moose is a light in our barn. He is an American Saddlebred, standing at 17 hands tall! He is our biggest horse which is where he gets his very fitting name! Moose used to be a big, fancy show horse, but now he is in our program to show our riders the ropes! His favorite things are begging at his door for ALL of the attention and big juicy apples!
Tears is a Thoroughbred. He used to be a big time, fast race horse. With his older age, he has now become one of our steady eddy teachers. He is big, strong, and loves to teach basic skills to new riders! His favorite things are nickering to people who walk through the barn and playing in the field.
Cora is an Appaloosa/Draft cross. She has been a part of the lesson horse team for over 7 years! She is a gentle giant, sweet, strong, quiet and LOVES to eat grass!
Checkers is a Morgan horse. He is our old reliable and loves to teach riders how to canter. He teaches our new and young riders awesome skills, and is even a first time show horse for our youngest of riders! We are very lucky to have such a safe and smart horse like Checkers! His favorite things are tail scratches and begging for food!
Lee is an American Saddlebred! He is an old boy but loves to teach the kids! He is great for beginner and intermediate riders. He loves to go to horse shows, and play outside with his friends. Fun fact - Mrs.Laney used to ride Lee when she was a kid!
Joe is an American Saddlebred. He has been part of our team for over 5 years. He is great for teaching our riders how to step up and ride a fancy show horse, while taking great care of his rider at the same time! Although he is blind in one eye, you would never know with his safe and calm demeanor. His favorite things are being pampered and sunbathing!
Emmy is an American Saddlebred. She is one of our fanciest lesson horses! She takes our riders to highest levels of competition. She is advanced and has a lot of skills to teach. Emmy exhibits all the amazing qualities we love in the American Saddlebred breed. Her favorite things are face rubs and peppermints!
Peri is an American Saddlebred. She is the oldest of our lesson horse, at the age of 27! She is strong and smart, but also sassy. Peri continuously teaches her riders how to be skillful and patient. Her favorite things are head scratches.
Poppy is a Morgan mare! She is very sweet, and lots of fun to ride. Poppy is one of our academy show horses, and is show ring super star with her little kids! Her favorite things are treats, getting her hair braided, and her little girl, Lucy!
Moody is an American Saddlebred, and one of our oldest boys here at the farm, at the age of 26! He has been there, done that, and has a show record that speaks for itself! Moody is now retired and spends his days with his best friend, Tears, and munching on grass and treats. He still loves to teach camp too!
Penny is an Appendix, which means she is half quarter horse, and half thoroughbred! She is a sweet old lady, and carry’s our tiniest of riders. She is gentle and sweet, and loves to give beginner riders the confidence they need to succeed in their riding skills! Penny’s favorite things are face scratches and rolling around outside in the pasture!
